This course will review the OSHA construction trenching and shoring standard.

This course will review the OSHA construction trenching and shoring standard. The course will review soils analysis and competent person requirements as required by OSHA. Specifics will also be reviewed on implementation of an OSHA compliant protective system program. This course is designed specific for electric, telephone and water/sewer utilities and participates who successfully complete the course will receive a competent person pocket card.

This course will review OSHA 1926.Subpart P, Excavations regulations, and will include classroom and field training.

Class time – 1 day

This course is designed for all utility personnel who work on an excavation worksite.
