We are always adding new courses and updating our existing one. Below are our newest courses and programs that we have designed:
- Defensive Driving for Heavy Vehicles
This course will cover the basics of defensive driving as well as information that focuses on requirements that will apply to drivers who haul heavy loads and larger vehicles.
- Electric Utility Arc Flash Training
The 2007 edition of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requires utilities to identify possible arc hazards and complete an arc hazard assessment by January 1, 2009.
- NESC-2012 Change Proposals
SET Solutions is now offering the review of the NESC 2012 Change Proposals in two independent courses.
- NFPA 70e Electric Utility Training
This training will focus on NFPA 70E-2009 “Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace,” The NFPA 70E standard, which has been updated for 2009, addresses electrical safety requirements for employee workplaces that are necessary for the practical safeguarding of employees.
- Safety Compliance Update for Electric Utilities
This course will review the recent changes in the National Electric Safety Code (NESC-2007) as it relates to employee safety. The course will include details on electric arcs and arc blasts, arc hazard analysis, minimum approach distances, switching procedures, working on energized lines and equipment, de-energizing equipment for employee protection and protective grounding.
- High Voltage Electric Safety
Designed for employees who work on/or inspect high voltage electrical equipment and lines.
