This course will review the recent changes in the National Electric Safety Code (NESC-2007) as it relates to employee safety.

The course will include details on electric arcs and arc blasts, arc hazard analysis, minimum approach distances, switching procedures, working on energized lines and equipment, de-energizing equipment for employee protection and protective grounding.
