This course is designed to review Part 4, Work Rules for the Operation of Electric Supply and Communication Lines and Equipment. The course includes details on arc flash requirements, protective methods and devices, general rules for employees, overhead line operating procedures, underground line operating procedures, energized conductors and parts, switching control procedures, work on energized lines and equipment, de-energizing lines or equipment to protect employees and live work.
