A Safety Perception survey is an integral part of a safety culture assessment that can provide management with a tool to measure leading indicators of safety performance.

The Safety Perception Survey will be administered by interviewers from SET Solutions. Interviewers will ask approximately 75 questions concerning the present safety culture verbally, one-on-one, to each participant chosen to participate. Anonymity of interviewees is guaranteed, ensuring honest, enlightening feedback. SET will interview approximately one third of the work force. Upon completion of the survey, SET Solution staff will furnish a statistical analysis report of the survey results with recommendations on developing a safety improvement plan.
