SET Solutions will work with utility management to develop switching and tagging program development for transmission or distribution lines and equipment.

The purpose of the program is to provide a safe, reliable and uniform method for the switching and tagging of electrical equipment and lines. It establishes necessary procedures for isolating equipment and lines from potentially hazardous energy sources and establishes necessary procedures for performing safe “Hot Line” work activities.

The procedure establishes specific responsi-bilities, for employees and contractors working on electric utility lines and equipment, to safely perform switching operations.
