Meet Our Staff

Pam Tompkins

PRESIDENT and CEO

Pam Tompkins is President and CEO of SET Solutions; she is a 22-year veteran in the electric utility industry, and has worked extensively with small to medium sized utilities to develop safety excellence. As a safety professional, she has received numerous state and national awards for her knowledge and skill. Pam received the American Society of Safety Engineers Region VI Safety Professional of the Year award, the Distingushed Service to Safety Award from the South Carolina Occupational Safety Council and the Safety Professional of the Year award from the South Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers. Pam, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Utility Safety Administrator (CUSA), is frequently requested to speak at conferences and workshops throughout the United States on high voltage safety issues.

 



Nancy St. Hilaire

SAFETY COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Nancy St. Hilaire is our Safety Compliance Specialist. She holds a Masters in Occupational Safety and has taught on the college level. She has over 15 years of experience in heavy manufacturing, PSM compliance and water/wastewater utilities. Prior to joining SET's team, Nancy was a safety manager for a large pulp and paper facility with over 1200 employees. She knows not just how to design compliance programs but how to implement them for optimum safety and efficiency. She continually strives to promote and facilitate a team approach to promoting a safer work environment for all employees.

 



Charlie Harris

SAFETY COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Charlie Harris is a Certified Safety Professional and an authorized OTI trainer with over 30 years of safety experience. He has received numerous safety professional awards throughout his career and is recognized as being an industry leader in the field of safety. Charlie’s background includes heavy steel manufacturing and construction. Charlie has many years of experience as a safety manager so he has real world knowledge how to develop, implement and maintain general industry and construction safety processes.

 



Matt Edmonds

TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Matt Edmonds is the Technical Specialist of the SET Solutions' staff. He has the technical background to work with clients and help develop their Lockout/Tagout procedures and Hazard Communication programs. He is also certified to conduct DOT training classes such as Flagger Training and Work Zone Safety Training.
