PRESIDENT and CEO

Pam Tompkins is President and CEO of SET Solutions; she is a 22-year veteran in the electric utility industry, and has worked extensively with small to medium sized utilities to develop safety excellence. As a safety professional, she has received numerous state and national awards for her knowledge and skill. Pam is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) and a Utility Safety Administrator (CUSA). She is a founding member of the USOLN (Utility Safety & Ops Leadership Network) and a current CUSP board member. Pam is frequently requested to speak at conferences and workshops throughout North America on high voltage safety issues.

VICE PRESIDENT, CONSULTING SERVICES

Matt Edmonds is the Vice President of Consulting Services and has over 5 years of field safety management expertise. He has the technical background to work with clients and help develop their safety processes. Matt is an authorized OTI trainer for the construction industry and he is also certified to conduct DOT training classes such as Flagger Training and Work Zone Safety Training.

MANAGER, LEADERSHIP AND HUMAN FACTOR PROGRAMS

Kathy Ellsworth, CUSP, has 30 years of experience in the electric utility industry and has worked in transmission and delivery as well as nuclear generation. Kathy is experienced in human performance improvement, safety, program assessments and training and she holds a degree in behavioral science. Kathy is dedicated to helping leaders and employees discover the underlying causes of incidents and designing methods of reducing the number and severity of accidents and unwanted events within their companies.

SENIOR INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE SPECIALIST

Charles Jackson is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with over 33 years experience as a safety and health professional. Charles is committed to developing processes within organizations to achieve World Class Safety by helping organizations develop long-term strategies in the areas of Safety, Health, Emergency Response, Security, Worker’s Compensation and Risk Management. Charles has managed safety and industrial hygiene programs and has been an adjunct senior lecturer in the School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. During his extensive working career, Charles has completed formal training in methods and techniques of auditing and he has taught techniques of auditing to facilities located throughout the US.

SAFETY COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

Charlie Harris is a Certified Safety Professional and an authorized OTI trainer with over 30 years of safety experience. He has received numerous safety professional awards throughout his career and is recognized as being an industry leader in the field of safety. Charlie’s background includes heavy steel manufacturing and construction. Charlie has many years of experience as a safety manager so he has real world knowledge how to develop, implement and maintain general industry and construction safety processes.

SENIOR ELECTRIC UTILITY SAFETY SPECIALIST

Bobby Blume, Senior Electric Utility Safety Specialist, has over 40 years of experience in electric utility safety and skills training. Bobby retired from the Electric Cooperatives of SC as the Vice President of Loss Control and Training, where he developed many safety training programs to comply with regulatory requirements of OSHA and National Electric Safety Code. As a national leader in electrical safety, Bobby was instrumental in the development and implementation of NRECA’s Safety Accreditation Program and South Carolina’s line worker training program. Bobby began his working career as a journeyman line worker before moving to the statewide cooperative association. Since joining SET Solutions, Bobby has worked with clients throughout the US to provide job specific safety and training for electric utility personnel.
